How to place a new stock order

The split factor. This is if an item is sold as a case therefore we will show them the total amount of the case however if you hover over the price it will display the split factor. For the below item if you hover over 229.47 it will show Unit price 11.47 (Split factor 20). This item has a box of 20 packets, therefore 229.47 divided by 20, each packet will cost 11.47.

When searching the system will always show the cheapest item however there could be the same item that is also available from a different supplier which will also show. If the user selects the more expensive one it will have a missed savings. The system always shows the cheapest available. FYI, some units prefer specific items from specific suppliers hence why they will select the more expensive one.

Multiple items from different suppliers can be loaded in one shopping cart and the system will create a PO for each different supplier. This basically means that the user doesn’t have to create a separate shopping cart for every supplier or category; it can all be done one on one cart. You can order meat from supplier 1, add groceries from supplier 2, and add packaging from supplier 3. The system will have once reference for the shopping cart but there will have 3 different purchase order numbers per supplier ordered.

The last quantity ordered will reflect under the ‘Last Order Quantity’.
