Equatorial Guinea is a small country located on the west coast of Central Africa. It is unique in being the only African country where Spanish is an official language. Equatorial Guinea consists of a mainland region called RÃo Muni and several islands, the largest of which is Bioko, where the capital city, Malabo, is located. Another important island is Annobón. Malabo is the capital city, situated on the island of Bioko. Spanish, French, and Portuguese are the official languages, although indigenous languages such as Fang and Bubi are also spoken.
