An approver’s responsibility is to Approve or Reject bookings made in Travelit in line within the company policies.
Approval is to be done before the last ticketing date.
It is recommended that approval is provided immediately, upon receiving the approval notification. This is to avoid fare increases due to exchange rates or quoted fare not being available at time of ticketing. This could be due to the availability or reservation being cancelled by a vendor and thus no longer having the availability.
The approval methods available are via the Travelit Mobile App, E-mail , Online and SMS.
When an approval is required, the relevant approver will be notified via a notification on their mobile device.
