Niger is a landlocked country located in West Africa, bordered by Libya and Algeria to the north, Chad to the east, Nigeria and Benin to the south, Burkina Faso to the southwest, and Mali to the west. It is the largest country in West Africa in terms of land area. Niamey is the capital and largest city of Niger.
